Hi There,
My name is Tess Kathawaroo, and I am the owner of CounTess Beauty and Wellness. My passion for skincare and wellness began in my teenage years due to struggles with acne and hyperpigmentation, which affected my confidence and self-esteem. Despite numerous treatments from doctors, dermatologists, and beauticians, my skin issues persisted, so having flawless even toned skin became an obsession of mine. In my 20s, I used harmful bleaching creams that temporarily improved my skin condition but had severe side effects and worsened my skins condition once I stopped using them.

Determined to find a healthier solution, I researched extensively and discovered the benefits of microneedling, which treats various skin issues, including aging skin and pigmentation. I became a certified microneedling therapist, and performed tretaments on myself, after three treatments, I significantly improved my acne scarring and pigmentation.

Understanding that true transformation also involves the mind, I incorporated meditation and visualization into my skincare routine. This holistic approach has proven more effective than topical treatments alone.
